Accessibility Statement
Our ongoing commitment to making this website usable for as many people as possible.
Our commitment
Stephen Cheung DDS - Family Dentist in Lodi is committed to making our website usable for as many visitors as possible, including people with disabilities. Web accessibility is an ongoing process, and we work to improve the experience continuously as standards, tools, and our content evolve.
What we do
When we build and maintain familydentistlodi.com, we use widely recognized web accessibility guidelines as a general reference for our ongoing work. We do not claim full conformance with any specific standard at any specific point in time. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, and we keep working at it as our website and the underlying tools and standards evolve. We welcome feedback so we can keep improving.
Features available on this site
To help every visitor have a comfortable experience, the site includes a built-in accessibility settings panel, accessible from the icon in the page header or by pressing Tab from the top of any page. From the panel you can:
- Increase text size in two steps.
- Switch to a more readable, dyslexia-friendly font.
- Underline every link automatically.
- Enable a larger cursor for low-vision use.
- Reduce or stop motion and animation site-wide.
- Pause autoplaying videos.
- Switch to a high-contrast or inverted color mode.
Your settings are saved in your browser and applied automatically on your next visit. We also respect your operating system’s “reduce motion” and “more contrast” preferences automatically.
The site is also designed to:
- Work with keyboard-only navigation, including a “skip to main content” link.
- Provide visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Offer descriptive text alternatives for images that convey meaning.
- Use semantic HTML headings, landmarks, and labels so screen readers can navigate efficiently.
- Maintain readable color contrast across text and interface elements.
- Adapt to the screen size and orientation of phones, tablets, and desktops.
Limitations and ongoing work
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we continue to review include older blog posts, embedded third-party widgets (online appointment scheduling, payment processing, patient portal, online forms), and PDF attachments, some of which were created before current accessibility practices. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know so we can prioritize a fix or provide the content in another format.
How to report a barrier or request assistance
If you have difficulty accessing any part of this website, or if you would like to request information in an alternative format, please contact us using whichever method works best for you. We aim to respond promptly and to provide the requested information in a way that works for you.

When you contact us, please tell us where on the site you ran into the issue, what you were trying to do, and which assistive technology (if any) you were using, which helps us reproduce and address the problem quickly.
Third-party content
Some pages link to or embed services we do not control, including our online appointment-request system, online bill-pay processor, patient portal, online forms, and embedded maps. We choose providers we believe are committed to accessibility, but the accessibility of those services is ultimately the responsibility of their providers. If you have trouble using a third-party service linked from this site, please contact us and we will help you reach the same outcome (for example, scheduling by phone or paying in the office).
Updates
